The Lifshitz Center for the Advancement of Jewish Studies

The Lifshitz Center for the Advancement of Jewish Studies was established by Dr. Dov Goldflam in the year 2,000. The center was initiated to enhance the teaching of Jewish studies abroad through Judaic enrichment workshops, in-service training seminars and courses for students of Teachers Colleges.

The Judaic enrichment programs, in service training projects and other "tailor-made" programs can be commenced in Israel or abroad, all depending on the needs and the requests of the school or community. The duration of the course and the operating costs of the workshops will be determined though mutual consultation.

The unique teaching programs and B.Ed courses are conducted in Jerusalem and abroad and are taught by senior Lifshitz College professors.

The Lifshitz Center for the Advancement of Jewish Studies also provides direct consultation to Teachers College students, practicing teachers and schools regarding pedagogic issues via Email and other on-line communications (for example Skype), where discussions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the student, teacher or school.
